I like how they zoom in on the black anchor cracking up! I somehow had to Google NWA... I'm a little embarrassed.

That's pretty funny...

No white person can say what it stands for so the weather guy got creative and the black anchor guy lost it.

hahaha

I work with a 30something white guy that knows what it means and he listened to them as a kid.

I would assume that's about the right age range. I am almost 40 and I knew what it was before I played it. It's still old lol...

As did I, think lots of white kids have listened to NWA.

Doesn't mean I go around saying what it stands for.

I remember when these guys first came out, F the Police was the hit. I'm excited about the movie, hope it's good.

I know what the confusion is here about. NWA means no whites allowed.

Cautionary tales…

N.W.A. Rap (F the poh lees)

I did. Ghetto Boyz. Too Short. NWA. And all their individual constituents (Scarface, Bushwick Bill, Easy E, etc)

I don't think I took Easy Duz It out of my tape deck for a month when it first came out.

When you first started hearing the rock bands including a rapper and some turntables, i really dug it. I grew up with mixtapes of NWA alongside Corrosion of Conformity and Slayer.

I remember the controversy surrounding NWO when F the police came out. I'm looking forward to seeing the movie.
It's great that Ice Cube's son is playing him in the movie.

I would like to thank everyone for confirming that, as I suspected, plenty of white people know/knew about NWA.
