Hey guys! A miracle from God! They started removing robots from factories and raised tariffs on foreign imports!

Source

“The growth in the employment trends index accelerated in Q2, suggesting strong job growth through the summer,” said Gad Levanon, managing director of macroeconomic and labor market research at The Conference Board. “The combination of solid job growth and nearly flat labor force growth should lower the unemployment rate to 5% by year end.”

Good news! Millennials are buying houses and cars again, construction is taking off, and we have solved homelessness and poverty!

Now we can expect there to be less people on food stamps social security and welfare, we should also expect the workforce to shift from 30% hovering around minimum wage to 10% and people are able to create their own companies now with all the excess money circulating locally as well as all of the new factory trade jobs and middle management jobs from all the millions of manufacturing jobs coming back to the US.

end sarcasm,

Nothing changed but they said that its getting better. Read that again, literally nothing changed but they said its getting better.

2 quarters a year the government thinks they get a pass. Summer jobs and Holiday jobs. Any intelligent person can see right past that. Not to mention the numbers have been cooked for years so even if they came out with the truth, who would believe them anyways, they have zero credibility?

Real question is what kind of jobs are these people getting and what kind of jobs did they have before? Alot of people had good jobs and are now stuck working in the service industry with a steep pay cut and less hours...

Here in So. Cal, commercial building construction has crept
back up to what it once was at least seven years ago.
A welcome site indeed.

Yeah there is massive commercial buildings going up everywhere in Santa Barbara.

Still not as good as it was before 08. I was able to find high payjng jobs every week then.

You have to wonder though... Is it artificial.. Or is it real?

My big question is who's spending the money? The average American isnt...

We seem to share the courage it takes to bluntly ask " The scary questions"
you and I. ( Raises index to right eye, then points to onequestion )

This works both ways, of course. Walls keep things in as well as out. The minute the rest of the world raises its tariffs is the minute that US exporters see their sales fall. This includes the countless world-leading US businesses, large and small, who compete on quality and innovation. All higher tariffs do is allow less efficient domestic firms to prosper (and force the average consumer to pay higher prices for the privilege).

That's how this administration works. Even when nothing changes, they fudge the numbers, throw a party and blast it on the front page. They've done so damn little to help this country, not making it worse is a cause for celebration.
