Watercolor Painting 1

Watercolor Painting "Fairgrounds 2015"

Did this small painting for my dad for Father's Day. It is him at the fairgrounds working on a raised bed planter. We planted it last month. It has needed daily watering until the roots are established, so one of us goes over there each day to water.

I like that. You've captured something in the way you've painted him... Like movement with a slightly slowed purpose. Or something. Bloody good.

To all who replied, Thank you so much. I am humbled and moved that ATS members have responded so positively. I put this up on a whim, and did not monitor the thread. Now I've come back and find it's likely one of the the most successful I've started.
Well who would have thought that by being true to ones best talent that the world would in turn respond positively in kind.

You have a very nice touch with this medium! I have a lot of respect for someone who can master watercolors this well.

I have very little luck with watercolors and will stick to my oil colors, but you are very inspiring.
