You're right. This thread really points out how little some people know about this issue. And, since we all eat, you'd think folks would be more informed about GMO's than they appear to be.

And, to the poster above your post, the inavailability to purchase non-GMO seed is not as simple as the co-op not having it in his contract to sell them. Monsanto has spent millions of dollars over several years to get the govt. on their side to legislate the monopoly on their seeds. Lots of folks out there need to wake up and educate themselves about what's going on because it's going to affect all of us.
