Herd rescues fallen baby elephant on busy roadway...AWWW!

In a touching display of caring and togetherness, a herd of elephants recently coaxed a baby elephant that had fallen in a busy roadway back to its feet and safely into the wilderness. The dramatic scene played out recently in Kruger National Park in South Africa, with motorists watching from both directions in the road.

This was hard to watch and not have that famous catch phrase come into my head, you know the one "I've fallen and I can't get up"! And then I could hear in my head the other elephants saying, "get up you big baby", or "I will give you my banana if you stop your tantrum", or " the neighbors are watching you, grow up", or "when we get home I am going to make you wish never embarrassed us", or "when we get home your father will deal with it". Glad he got his butt up finally! Maybe he just had gas!

Didn't really look like it had fallen, looked more like it just said I want to lay down right her right now!

Yeah it didn't fell, it was just to tired to carry on.
" I'm gonna lay down now, afternoon nap time for me"

Reminds me of my kids when they were little.

Sure looks to me like it is just doing the 'kiddie protest thing', you know, like when they don't want to go in their car seat and do the body like a ridged iron bar impression or the I don't want to stand up/get picked up body is a piece of jelly thing. Just shows you kids are kids regardless of species lol.
