I'm sure it won't be too long before upgrades and addons and hacks are available to increase it's versitility. Perhaps it has a "proximity/distance" control to enable better indoor use.

Drones have brought a production value to indy films usually only affordable by big studios.

Making real movies is a kitchen table enterprise due to the new technology.

Now all you need is a story! And good actors to make it believable.

I wonder how it would work on a racetrack, if it could keep up(maybe with the side shot.

Though I doubt any racing event would allow them to hover around, uncontrolled.

Might have some interesting use in the porn industry if they can get some obstacle avoidance built into it.

Cool Drone. Here's another one called Solo the smart drone. I think I will pre-order Lily. I was going to pre-order Solo but Lily looks more like a personal drone vs. the more technical Solo. Solo seems much better if you're a film producer.

I just meant being indoors, other than that it sounds like it was made for it. The various angles, ability to snap still pictures....waterproof.

I saw this on Reddit two days ago, was going to post...got lazy, made food instead.

Remember folks, you can't use them in most of the US National parks.
You may be asked politely to remove it or you may just get shot, hopefully Lilly will be able to film it as evidence though.

Actually, a very cool device, hopefully they have some sort of beacon in them to avoid multiple Lilly's from colliding if many people use them in congested spaces, like a Motocross event or something.

These things are good in small spaces too. Check out the one in the video below which costs less than $30 and has no problem in between trees in the woods...

I can't load the video (I live in a bad signal area) is this the one that folds into a backpack, you throw her in the air and she follows you, as long as you wear the watch that comes with it?
