I can't believe that the roads through the center of town are not being closed. It's obviously dangerous for people to drive through there. Leave the streets open with no protection? Are they even warning the drivers? WTF is happening?

The mayor just released a statement saying she isn't updating her Twitter feed because in a time of crisis, she can't worry about updating Twitter.

And yet the PD is sending out updates via Twitter.

Good call, Madame Mayor. Go silent in the middle of a situation, and then release a statement saying you're to busy to update your city.

That's what my husband is saying, is been now declared a state emergency and the national guard is activated as I write now.

I 'm hoping for a "boots on the ground" live coverage like
we had for Ferguson. I will check Argos to see if I can find
anything.
