Baton Rouge, New Orleans, April 27, about 1PM

Train cars blown off tracks on Huey P. Long Bridge, FOX 8 reports

Several train cars were blown off the elevated tracks on the Huey P. Long Bridge in Elmwood Monday morning (April 27) as severe weather rolled through the region.

I hate driving under these types of elevated tracks or roadways, every time the wind gusts I'm looking up expecting to see a semi hurtling down towards me.

It looks like a road truck is already blown over on the road near the passover already. I guess some of the rail trucks were empty.

Whoa, I hope nobody was under the overpass when those cars were blown over. I hope nobody got hurt.

Where in Baton Rouge is New Orleans? Lol.

I never liked the Huey P. Long Bridge. Scary high, with narrow lanes, and a train in the middle!!
