The time for that has passed. The only choice now unfortunately is self preservation and small collectives.

Large protests or mass demonstrations are history because the populace allowed it to get to this point by inactivity. Now, they are paying for that lack of interest.

People need to start small, as in, start locally. Many local elections only need hundreds of votes to win. Local governments have more of an affect on people's day to day lives, anyway. And having a strong local following can not only attract more people to your cause, but it can also serve as a training ground & launching pad for bigger elections. Then you move on to county wide elections & state elections.

It's taken a long time for our system to get where it is, so it's going to take a lot of time to correct it. Even if we had some billionaire backing us, it wouldn't change the deeply entrenched status quo. Because every level of government, from upper management down to the interns, would still be full of people who are invested in keeping things as they are

Ehhh. Taxes are plunder anyway. The money has already been stolen. It's not your money anymore once it's been confiscated by the state. They can do anything they damn well please with it and unless you can get enough people to vote against them, there isn't anything you can do about it. And they will still do whatever they want because even if you vote against them, they'll just learn to lie better next time.
