Ummm...hello again...here's a little something to dispute a much vaunted phrase of superior consideration...
(when you read this assume the voice of Peter O'Toole)
Ware the graphite strand
How wonderfully simplistic innocent complexity
To think that with this pencil I could ply
The backwoods and the highways from ripe farm to vogue city
To never leave yet from this building fly
From one point I have spilled my soul upon a virgin page
Yet from erasures end I wipe it clean
In the span of minutes I can cause a time to age
Or polluted pulp I could with pressure glean
Ware the sword yet more the pen I think I've heard it said
Yet both of these when used cannot undo
I'll brandish forth my graphite strand to challenge you instead
With full reversal I can erase you
That my friends is true power...greater than the sword...greater than the pen...a simple line series in graphite...that can also be rubbed away...
