wasn't sure where to post this, as i'm not sure what it is. it sounds like explosions but the duration of the light seems longer than normal.

the first is from liveleak (link as i don't know how to embed LL video) which was uploaded today. the second is off youtube from 5 days ago.

an interesting spectacle. anyone know if/what type of explosions these could be? or if they're not explosions.

www.liveleak.com...

cheers

It`s phosphor.

UAF have been using that and cluster bomb earlier too.

Well I was gonna say it's very strange and I have no clue.

But if BornAgain is right, that's an International Law breach, surely!

Looks like fuel burning up, maybe with the explosion being the pressure release?

Hard to tell, interesting though.

WP is not banned except when used against civilians. And is not an issue when used as illumination or smoke.
en.wikipedia.org...

From my experience WP burns bright white, the better video on LL clearly shows a blue hue.
Looks more like illumination rounds to me.

Nice one Stosh...

Says its banned from use in Civilian Areas as well... Which I guess most of the Ukraine Conflict is...

But it does seem if this is WP, it's being used as an illumination strategy rather than an incendiary attack.

Thanks for the info.

From your link...

There has been multiple reports about Ukraine using White phosphorus against the rebels and civilians in Ukranian Civil war.

It could have been some other type of incendiary weapon.

By the way, McCain admits to cluster munitions use in Ukraine… blames himself for it, lol.
