It's not just the "taste".

Sugar effects the brain in similar ways to other harmful addictive substances. There are also studies in regard to ketogenic(low carb/sugar) diets and their neuroprotective benefits.

You can eat sugar everyday for a full month and then completely stop without you or your body is longing for more sugar, you might miss the taste, so it's not the sugar that creates the addiction, it's the taste.

Thats why you want the donut, it taste good.

Most drugs are different in that your body wants more the more you take, if you completely stop, you will feel sick and have withdrawal symptoms.

Sugar and drugs are not comparable IMO...

There are a number of illegal drugs that have no physically addictive properties...some even have anti-addiction properties...do some research.

Did i say All drugs ? No, i said "MOST drugs are different".

I know "my" drugs, i don't need to research that much anymore....

Btw, so you agree that sugar isn't addictive, because that was all i was saying...

In the past, honey was used as sugar, later a sugar plant, then just those sugar potatoes and now even harming chemicals.
We're being fooled here. The belief of sugar having been something positive by replacing something actually positive with it!
"Group psychology", as the manipulated call it.
A drug which only works based on a placebo effect.

But hiding taste of food, including by cooking it or adding spices, is probably very negative in the sum for us as well. I think the body can distinguish between what it needs to eat at the moment and what not, unless fooled by warmth or a fake surface.
