Not my words but those of the media . Now let me start ,this a good thing , a very good thing but what sets Belgian apart from France or Australia . Are they better at counter terrorism . Are their laws different . It is probably safe to say that no one fell of the terrorist watch list there . Good work Belgium .

Imagine the peril we might find ourselves in if those who protest against government eaves dropping got their way.

There would absolutely be no way to pre-emp an attack...

Personally i would be quite ok with a barcode on my drivers licence that has my DNA / fingerprint information on it . I dont break the law , i have nothing to be afraid of .

Belgium, where the French terrorists bought their AK's and rocket launcher..

Maybe they're not so good at antiterrorism, its just that they havn't bothered taking names and kicking asses...until now, when its too late.

Has anyone heard of Belgiums antiterrorist squads making raids in the last 10 years...maybe it just hasnt reached the Msm.

Thats what any rational person would think, however the "they want to control our every mové and keep us under control, they're big brother" crowd, the not so rationals amongst us, dont see it as that.
But as this crowd screams louder than us, people tend to listen..
Here in Spain you need an Id card for everything, the bank, paying by Credit card, driving etc etc. It has your details, photo and index finger print..nobody complains, your lifes much easier with it.

Be careful what you wish for..I certainly wouldn't and even more so a chip that is implanted..please do not beckon the NWO..

I can see these attacks happening in many countries and them being used to either: trick the populace into another phoney war..to reclaim the liberties of the masses with new draconian laws, and most of all a ruse to introduce Marshall law.

Can't wait for all the boiled frogs in France to realize the oppressive police response down the road will be the problem they welcomed in with open arms.

You see what we got in the US since 911?

Enjoy your distopia.

Until they change or make a law that you cannot help but break due to the nature of the wording. By that time it is to late, they have you easily.

No thanks, I will not go silent into THAT goodnight.

At least this act of violence was averted.

Plans to attack Police in the streets and Offices!!

I read 'German' Police also arrested some players and 'French' police last night.

Even in the UK there were more raids!

Al those who have visited Syria or Turkey of late will be under suspicion and it's a shame they were allowed back.

Yes it is..and it carries a heavy heavy fine, if they wish to push the law to its límits.

However we've had id cards here since the 1930's and nobodies bothered.

Nobody here awaits a microchip in the back of the neck..
