An Interesting question has been raised, "what do they know that the rest of us don't"

So come on all you conspiracy nut jobs, (me included) what are they worried about?

CME maybe???

A few weeks ago, we reported that for some still unexplained reason, the US Treasury is ordering "survival kits" to its employees overseeing the federal banking system. To wit:

The Department of Treasury is spending $200,000 on survival kits for all of its employees who oversee the federal banking system, according to a new solicitation. As FreeBeacon reports, survival kits will be delivered to every major bank in the United States and includes a solar blanket, food bar, water-purification tablets, and dust mask (among other things). The question, obviously, is just what do they know that the rest of us don't?

Actually if you can get a little more conspiracy minded what if that's sort of saying... Hey you might need these.. If I was in one of these gangs I'd be putting out messages, rarely, but to the point, and at the right time..

That's one version. Like hey you might have trouble surviving.

The other point if they were trying to prepare people for an event.. Bankers.. You would send a memo and they would buy the needed goods, so as to not become a thread on ATS.

So I don't know, It doesn't mean a lot to me, but who else also got these? IS it all banks? Are they private banks?

I worked with a department of homeland security badge at an Airport.. Nothing interesting.. But I can't tell you why it's not interesting for another 4 years or so.. Otherwise I can go to jail for 5 years.

As Far as CME's go... If the banks have "backup data." One conspiratorial scenario is to wipe out all the money on computers with an EMP. You'd want the people who know how to set up new systems and to be able to service those systems to stay close and not have any bumps along the road.

Bank employees are going through training maybe.

Preparing for the coming bank holiday declaration and debit card system shut-down.

Riots will prevent the bank exits from opening.

49a. A Bank Holiday

That was my first thought if the story is true? However a bank holiday would have the employees home I would think, unless the order from on high comes down during normal business hours. Tid bits of ammo purchases, survival equipment and food orders spaced out over the last few years does make one wonder, no ?

Earlier this year we had to assess what was in our emergency preparedness kits if we had to work from home.
Another department within the same place is spending thousands of dollars on UPS systems for home users in the event of a disaster.

Is that in prep for a coming scheme by the IllumiNSAMasons or is it just common sense in prepping for a possible disaster scenario?

A question on Motives could only be answered by the person with motives, until it's hindsight. The FBI never hired me to profile people or situations.

Possible reason:

Hacker threats
CME
Economy is ready to tank
or
they needed to spend the money to not have a negative impact on their budget for next year?

That one. Federal agencies buy stupid things so they can justify their budget and appear proactive. "We spent X on emergency preparedness" sounds better than "We bought our employees fanny packs with energy bars and itty-bitty first aid kits." Every agency has continuity of operations plans, but this isn't a big part of it.

I saw this on BIN and immediately went to twitter to verify. Was literally just tellin the wife it was BS when I saw the tweet. Came here to write it up and saw someone beat me to it. Excellent S&F
anyway here's the original tweet and a pic of it as well.

Could be nothing...getting my umbrella ready for the storm though...just in case.

Is there Something Coming Down that Joe Public doesn't know about? Anything you know and can share?

Tell us please. Inquiring minds want to deny ignorance.

Never mind. Pretty slim pickens on an "emergency" kit. Wonder how much they paid for them, probably $1500.00 each.

I was thinking the same thing (slim pickings) A, food bar suggests whatever they are preparing for is not expected to last very long. Solar blanket to keep warm if they have to have a sleep over and a dust mask until the dust settles.

The more I look at it, they are prepping for a big bang in the foyer one day. terra is t, atak.

No. We train for everything all the time one after the other...then do it again with the lessons we learn by doing them.

We drill for disasters, weather events, bio-hazards, epidemics, mass casualties. We practice and certify for cpr, aed, first aid, search and rescue, triage, disaster response...even animals in disaster care for pets in evacuations.

We do it all...then we do it again...and when we're through? We plan the next and start over so we are prepared to help you if the worst of any number of things happens,

You'd expect us to, right? Doesn't mean at all...we know something is up. Just the opposite. We TRAIN because nothing IS up...and we have the opportunity in that space...to train.
