"Mainstream" opinions about Earth as some kind of prison/school - rectifying the issue

OR

As many atheists believe:

we are no more important than a cow, or a tree, or an ant

each serving it's purpose in a closed ecosystem

the ecosystem created solely by chance

with no purpose

no chance of escape, except total termination

dust to dust


Atheism says that is the sum total of our meaning in the world

nothing more than a happen chance DNA twist

and this is all there is

there is no more

never will be more

and to hope for more is insanity


And these are the people who are insisting that everyone in the US
bow to their sensibilities and ideas
so we don't offend them
If they have no cosmic purpose
no end game
then how can we offend
with what they see as purposeless activity?
