He wasn't sentenced to death for robbery. He was sentenced to death for murder..

just my two cents....




The US was part of the process that saw people hung for actions they later took and justified themselves. Its actually more like someone breaks into a home, rapes the person and after they had been prosecuting people for rape and home invasion.

So in the case of a judge suddenly going serial rapist, you'd have a good comparison.
