Society is heading towards its own destruction, we will become uninterested of our reproduction needs and start behaving as fat mouses, withdrew from the company of others entirely, eating, sleeping, feeding and grooming themselves but doing little else.

This seems to be happening to males due to the consequences of feminism, according to this long but interesting report.

Never before in history have relations between the sexes been so fraught with anxiety, animosity and misunderstanding. To radical feminists, who have been the driving force behind many tectonic societal shifts in recent decades, that's a sign of success: they want to tear down the institutions and power structures that underpin society, never mind the fall-out. Nihilistic destruction is part of their road map.

But, for the rest of us, the sight of society breaking down, and ordinary men and women being driven into separate but equal misery, thanks to a small but highly organised group of agitators, is distressing. Particularly because, as increasing numbers of social observers are noticing, an entire generation of young people—mostly men—are being left behind in the wreckage of this social engineering project.

In short: they grew up, dysfunctional, under-served by society, deeply miserable and, in many cases, entirely unable to relate to the opposite sex. It is the boys who were being betrayed by the education system and by culture at large in such vast numbers between 1990 and 2010 who represent the first generation of what I call the sexodus, a large-scale exit from mainstream society by males who have decided they simply can't face, or be bothered with, forming healthy relationships and participating fully in their local communities, national democracies and other real-world social structures.

Social commentators, journalists, academics, scientists and young men themselves have all spotted the trend: among men of about 15 to 30 years old, ever-increasing numbers are checking out of society altogether, giving up on women, sex and relationships and retreating into pornography, sexual fetishes, chemical addictions, video games and, in some cases, boorish lad culture, all of which insulate them from a hostile, debilitating social environment created, some argue, by the modern feminist movement.

I wont go to deep into this but i think is a matter that could draw some important discussion here on ATS, being a male around the age described in the article i feel represented by some of the points it made. Men are becoming second class, men actions are more scrutinized than equal actions by women, and in many instance the word of a woman condemn us.

Almost all young men have attended mandatory sexual harassment and anti-rape seminars, and they know that they can be fired, expelled or arrested based more or less on the word of any woman. They know they are basically guilty until proven innocent in most situations.

All this is due to extreme feminism that preach equality having in mind woman superiority

Women today are schooled in victimhood, taught to be aggressively vulnerable and convinced that the slightest of perceived infractions, approaches or clumsy misunderstandings represents "assault," "abuse" or "harassment." That may work in the safe confines of campus, where men can have their academic careers destroyed on the mere say-so of a female student.

what would happen is a men goes around with a t shirt saying i bath in the tears of women? I dont know but it seems its totally ok for the other way around.



Is this the end of society? doubtful, in my opinion some generations will be spoiled before a paradigm shift occur and endless cycles will happen again, perhaps some of us are withdrew from the company of others entirely, eating, sleeping, feeding and grooming ourselves playing video games all day just because its addictive and we like to be slobs but prefer to blame feminism of our choices, in any case the article makes a representation of current society that may worth to analyze.

Should we really be worried, in a world that is populated by 7 billion people that a few men in the Western Hemisphere are giving up on sex and relationships because they feel women cannot meet their needs?

Wow, you raise some very profound issues. A post like this is difficult to comment on.

First and foremost I want women to be empowered. Even in the West we have societies where women are a great deal more restricted than men.

It is easy for a man to say that he wants to go out on a midnight mountain bike ride, walk, go fishing or whatever other night time activity. If we consider that a woman does not have the same choices because the fear of the obvious. Now that is a huge social injustice. It is only one of many.

The men hating and belittling brand of so called feminism is as nasty as anything a chauvinistic male might come up with.

True sensible feminism is a good thing in terms of bringing to attention the deficits in freedom for women. Empowerment of individual women is about respecting choice, too. If a woman wants to have a career or decides to be a traditional mother, staying at home and bringing up the children, well what of it. A woman should be empowered enough to be able to have choice.

Yes, men are suffering somewhat in that our traditional identity is being questioned. It is really about how we respond to that.

I have my own place. Even if I entered into a relationship now common sense teaches me that I must maintain a level of individual security. It works that way for women, too. It is a response to the redefinition of the sexes in our societies.

As men if we feel that we must have control of women to maintain our identity it is not a good premise. We have seen what effect that has had on women.

Also, there is no reason why we can't establish unique and individual relationships without the burden of outside social pressure to conform to strict roles and gender behaviour. A man and a woman can create their own unique relationship based on their individual needs.

Why can't we have a society where a woman can be a soldier or a midwife, where a man can be a soldier or a midwife, where a man can be a house husband?

Roll on that day when a woman can walk alone in the middle of the night without fear. Then we will know there are no more prisons of fear.

I think it is something else...with social media it is so easy to get sex these days that men don't need real relationships as much. At least men who have been screwed over in the past. I personally have found my hobbies to take place of women and I've never been happier. Women make life complicated. If I need sex I can go out some night or hire a prostitute where I live...even then its just not that important.

On the other side of that I love having women friends...it is easier to open up to a woman and they do have an emotional side that I can appreciate. It is just easier to have a friend that is a girl than an actual girlfriend.

Well it didn't take long for people to discount completely what the OP was saying, and just chalk it up to more Misogyny against Feminism.

The fact that men's culture is demonized, while women's culture is celebrated should be evidence enough that radical Feminism is harming both sides.



That's something I like to post in these conversations ,because it's relevant and true.

There is plenty of inequality on both sides. Why we choose to focus on one in particular, while maintaining the idea, that talking about the other is somehow insulting to the former, is ignorant.

I think it has less to do with "feminism" (as such), and speaks more to the unrealistic expectations of women today. They want their suburban mansion, picket fence, 2.5 kids, and (most importantly) the envy of their peers. And if they don't get it, they'll simply move on to the next mark.

Men have noticed this trend, and many will simply not have anything to do with it. Many (and this is where a lot of women tune out and refuse to understand) can't have anything to do with it because we live in an economic climate that no longer allows for the fairy tale lifestyle most women were brainwashed into demanding from a very early age.

Simply put, we can't keep up with all the BS. We checked out of the relationship scene because we see it for what it is:

Exploitation. Stick that in your feminist pipe and smoke it.

Well as a woman, I have to agree.
Feminism was great. When it was actually about equality.
Now that it has become feminatzism, not so much.

I'm at the age, where I've grown up with the change. It has shifted too far, and hopefully, will shift back, before it is too late, and does too much damage.

I'm all for equality.
I'm against demonizing men.

I'm giving you a big ol' star because you hit the nail on the head with that statement!, I wish I wasn't in such a position to say every woman I've come across in relationships is looking for $$$.

I feel that society has forgotten something.

Women and Men compliment each other. Need each other.

We both bring something necessary to the table. If nothing else, look at the act of procreation as to proof.

Sure, thanks to science, both genders are not necessary.

Where I believe that in many, many places the genders are equal, there are some places they are not. Not all men are stoic and proactive. Not all women are emotional care givers. But, in this case, I think that opposites find each other and attract each other.

In all things, I am drawn towards common ground and compromise. Extremes are repulsive to me. Both from men and women.


The idea that we can live without each other, IMHO, is misguided and delusional.

If my tire needs changing, I take it to a garage where a mechanic, male or female will do it for me and I still want equality because some garages will try to charge me more, or find more wrong with it to gouge me, just because I am a woman.

A good marriage requires both people's needs to be met.

You have the choice to turn to pornography to meet the needs deemed the most important, I suppose; invented by men to serve men and degrade women.

Another inequality is child custody battles. I really don't wanna get involved with this topic though. I just wanna sit back with my popcorn and watch.

I would join you, but I've seen this play out over and over and nothing ever changes.

Women want men who are men.

Man has become a tool for the women. He must be exactly what she wants him to be when she needs it. But it doesnt work the other way around. A women dosent whant to be what a man wants her to be. Because that becomes a discrimination against women.

Hate to break it to you, but choosing to be/live alone and without complications of relationships has been uptrending for quite some time now globally and regardless of gender or even age, although it is more prevalent among the younger gens.

So to the OP, two comments: 1, Welcome to the club, and 2. interesting spin/rationalization of the trend.
