Nanofactory concept animation

Foresight's animation challenge has been apparently taken(or close to it) here are a few screen shots and the link to the video. I suguest you skip the screenshots and go to the video its not the best quality but it delivers the message. The ending is the best IMHO.

Yeah, I'll be impressed with their CG when they use it to build a real model.

Heh, this is not really meant as somthing to guide engineers towards this technology, its more of a sales pitch to the CEOs(who have been ignoring the Nanofactory concept up till now).

CEOs like it when they can see somthing when they cannot touch and use it, so they can figure out whether its worth it to spend billions of $$ on somthing that may be 20 years in the future. It's a good start IMHO, and if it gets just one major multinational to start funding basic research then it has surved its purpose,
