My thoughts exactly.

Pursuant to the theory of the butterfly effect; this either means more, or hopefully less pressure on the San Andreas - which is my heaviest concern. While I'd love to be on an island; a lot of people are going to die when it goes.

Cheers for the heads up, always good to know what's going on.

I wonder what effect this will have on the Quique bend in Chile, and on the Chilean shoreline or mountains of Chile and Argentina.

So there were two in tha same region yesterday ( UTC TIME ZONE)

Sorry it's a screenshot. It's from my quake watch app. I'm on my iPad and the links don't take me to the event page I can link. Of course it can be searched on USGS site to confirm. I'm not clear if I set my app to my own time zone of PST, which is 8 hours behind of UTC. I stand corrected on any of this for those who wish to do so.

I believe the 6.8, as posted in thread title was the 7.1 downgraded to that and the 6.6 was a foreshock preceding that. However my app has not updated the downgrade, if it was indeed one.
