can anyone tell me why moving home is one of the most stressfull things in life?

(the other being getting married, or divorced)

yes I have just moved, and havent had a great time doing it either!

routine. Nothing upsets that comfort and routine more than moving, coupled with uncertainty about how things will be at the new place, etc. leaving family/friends that are around you now....all of that pretty much sucks.

in my experience moving is never fun unless someone does it for you
arriving should be good or it wasn't worth the move-move again before you unpack
marriage is fun
divorce is very disillusioning at least for me the two times it happened
moving home can be difficult, sort of loke defeat. but remember it is home Todo
