This is not exactly a new or groundbreaking topic on ATS:

jesus was a black man!!!
Jesus portrayed as caucasian?
What did jesus look like??
the shrine of the Black Madona
lets just get this straight
Jesus portrayed as caucasian?
Jesus was truly an African!

There are a lot more, and they can be found using the oft-neglected www.abovetopsecret.com... f%3BLH:90%3BLW:270%3BGL:1%3BBGC:b5b5b5%3BT:%23303030%3BLC:%23cc0000%3BVLC:%23660000%3BALC:%23ff0000%3BGALT:%23330000%3BGFNT:%23606060%3BGIMP:%23000000 %3BDIV:%23cc0000%3BLBGC:b5b5b5%3BAH:center%3BS:www.AboveTopSecret.com...%3B&domains=abovetopsecret.com%3Bbelowtopsecret.com%3Batsnn.com%3Bterroran alysis.com&sitesearch=abovetopsecret.com" target="_blank" class="postlink">Search Feature.

I'm not saying it isn't an interesting or significant topic, but seriously, this one in particular as just been beaten into the ground.

For what it's worth, I am confident that Jesus had a dark brown complexion, like pretty much everyone else in the area, but that he was semitic.

"Semitic" is not satisfactory, as there can be Black, White or mixed Semites. The term Semitic was coined by a German to classify the so-called descendants of Ham.

Jesus Christ was BLACK.

But what does it matter? What exactly are you trying to prove? Jesus Christ was Semite. The defintion of a Semitic jew is a person that originated from Asia and partly Africa.

www.newadvent.org...
The term Semites is applied to a group of peoples closely related in language, whose habitat is Asia and partly Africa. The expression is derived from the Biblical table of nations (Genesis 10), in which most of these peoples are recorded as descendants of Noah's son Sem.

So in definition, a Semite could range in color from Dark to Light. It doesnt matter. Semite refers to the geographical origin, not the racial makeup.

Jesus has been perceived as blond hair, blue eyes to dredlocked and brown skin. But as I stated earlier, what does it matter? You believe in christainity because of the religion, not the skin color of the creator. Correct me if I'm wrong.
