You are wrong. When I was in psychosis in 2009 I had an episode when my voice dropped two octaves.

At 7:24 it stated there should be respect for the pope, again, a demon re-enforcing church laws, if anything i would have thought they would try to make you think god does not exist at all.

I am not a specialist in exorcism and don't know much about this case, but if I am not mistaken one of the things exorcists supposedly do is to force demons to tell the truth. Perhaps anyone else may have more information on this.
And then, the Devil doesn't deceive us denying God's existence, but his own.

This demon seems to be pro-church witch is strange to say the least.

From the middle and on i hear constant bickering concerning misuse of church attire and even seating arrangements that should be reverted back to old standards, am i hearing this correct, a "demon" doesn't like the benches in church!! That's more something a human being forced to sit on them day's on end would like to say.

At 7:24 it stated there should be respect for the pope, again, a demon re-enforcing church laws, if anything i would have thought they would try to make you think god does not exist at all.

Not challenging the authenticity, just find it a most peculiar conversation.

At the beginning of an exorcism, the demon will try either remain undetected, or hide the seriousness of his possession hence the dribble and distraction heard in the recording, even if he is not always successful.

The importance of prayer, the sacraments, and the intercession of the Virgin Mary, the angels, and the saints.

The power of an exorcism comes from God, knowing the name has some benefit to the process as to dealing with the heavyweights but is not part of every successful exorcism. Within exorcism demons are reluctant to speak, if they do it will be silly things (as heard in the video) or divulges something personal in order to distract the exorcist.

And then, the Devil doesn't deceive us denying God's existence, but his own.

The above statement is incorrect. Their only goal for humans is to deceive and corrupt them into turning away from God so that they die in a poor spiritual state and become their eternal slave and victim.

Satan was the most perfect being created by the hands of God. His God-give authority and superiority over other angels and recognized by all, so he thought that he had the same authority over everything that God was creating. Satan tried to understand all of creation but could not. Until Christ came into the world, God's plan could not be revealed in its entirety. Hence Satan's rebellion. He wanted to continue to be the absolute first, the center of creation, even if it meant opposing God's design. This is why Satan continually tries to dominate the world. Beginning with our forefathers, Satan seeks to enslave men by making them obey him and disobey God. He was successful with our forefathers, Adam and Eve. Satan hoped to continue with all men with the help of a third of the angels who followed in rebellion against God.

God never rejects his creatures. Therefore, even though they broke with God, Satan and his angels maintain their power and rank (thrones, dominions, principalities, powers and so on) even if they use them for evil purposes. St Augustine does not exaggerate when he claim that, if God gave Satan a free hand, "no man would be left alive" Since Satan cannot kill us, he tries to make us into his followers in opposition to God, just as he is in opposition to God.

Let us be clear about this, Jesus defeated Satan through his sacrifice on the cross. However Jesus also defeated Satan before his death, through his teachings. Even if this battle against Satan concerns all men and all times, there is no doubt that Satan's power is felt more keenly in periods of history when the sinfulness of the community is more evident. The decadence of the Roman Empire, where moral disintegration of that period, now we are at the same level of decadence, partly as a result of the misuse of mass media and partly because of Western consumerism and materialism which has poisoned our society.

How does the devil oppose God? By claiming for himself the adoration due to God and by mimicking Christian institutions. Therefore, he is anti-Christ and anti-Church.

The whole speaking of languages that the person doesn't know certainly is weird, although I don't know if that happened in this case. I do believe it has been documented in other cases however. I can see no explanation for something like that.

The only possible explanation....subject is controlled by outside intelligence, a self aware and separate sprit. And yes it has been documented before.

What a load of balls.

Here we are in the twenty-first century, and people STILL believe that demons cause mental illness.

Her parents and priests should be convicted of murder, because they let her starve to death while waving their bronze-age surperstitions at her schizophrenia. This poor girls dying madness is the only thing that you are hearing. And it could heve been prevented if the backwards dildos that called themselves her parents hadn't been delusional themselves, hadn't pumped her full of the religious garbage she's reciting from day one, and gone to see a doctor when her symptoms started.

Sometimes I have difficulty in seeing the light for humanity, I truly do.

The three signs that the Ritual cites as symptoms of diabolical possession are talking in unknown languages, exhibiting superhuman strength and knowing what is hidden. These can service well before an exorcism or occasionally during an exorcism. One can not always arrive at a precise diagnosis, often in difficult cases the individual is afflicted with both evil influence and psychological disturbances. Using a psychiatrists help is valuable.

Modern experts in theology, some psychiatrists and parapsychologists make the same statements that certain types of mental illnesses can be confused with diabolical possession, thinking that they have invented the wheel! If they had more knowledge, they would know that the first experts to caution about making this diagnostic mistake have been the ecclesiastic authorities themselves. Since 1583, among decrees of the synod of Reims, the Church gave warning about the danger of mistaking mental illness for diabolical possession. But in those days, the science of psychiatry had not yet been born.

Indeed, in many quarters to discredit physical diabolical influence is considered a duty and proof of wisdom. Contemporary culture as a whole believes that to credit anything other than natural factors for events and occurrences all around us is an old-fashioned illusion.

An illness that is associated with even the lowest levels of demonic activity is peculiarly resistant to every known prescription drug. In contrast, even illnesses that are considered mortal are mysteriously healed by religious interventions. Often the victims of an evil spirit believe that they are persecuted by bad luck: they see their life as a series of misfortunes.

Today, science admits that some behavior is caused by abnormal factors and calls 'paranormal' all inexplicable actions performed by those possessed by demons. Many people are seeking to find the causes of these phenomena. We do not try to deny scientific progress; we merely state that that we deny reality if delude ourselves that science can explain everything and that we can trace every illness to normal activities.

Very few scientists seriously believe in the possibility that unknown, intelligent and incorporeal powers can cause certain phenomena. Rare is the doctor who will admit that he may be dealing with a different set of causes when faced with clients whose symptoms and clinical tests are unexplainable. If they are confronted with unexplainable, many people will appeal to Freud rather than call an exorcist to help. As a result the condition of these unfortunate clients does not improve but becomes worse.

In the case of Annelise, she had been under medical care for many years with very little improvement to her health and well being. I belief that Annelise's family turned in desperation towards the Church. Annelise died as a result of starvation, her death was deemed as independent from administration and reception of the sacramental (exorcism). It was unfortunate that both priests allowed themselves to be led by what Annelise herself told them would be useful for liberation. Even medical help may have prevented her death, it would not have prevented her death in the near future.

Annelise's exorcism has indeed become world famous, with many uniformed individuals who shun the Church and its exorcisms because of Annelise's death. Annelise's death is a rarity in the Church, death during exorcism is more common in other denominations and belief systems.

Catholic exorcisms never involved stabbing children with knives, drowning etc. That is murder. As seen here: Source

a reply to: GogoVicMorrow I disagree.

Care to explain why you disagree? I mean, all evidence points to mental illness. The "demons" are the first pro church demons i have ever heard. It's funny because she was soooo pro church and such a good church going girl that she couldn't even commit to evil while possessed.

Sorry she was mentally ill. THat's why people were charged with neglect. She would have lived with the correct medical help.

This doesn't mean anything really and has precedent. Jesus cast a demon out of a man right in the synagogue. This demon was very synagogue orientated and the man he possessed was a regular and known member. This type is contrasted by another type that drove its victim into the cemetery, among the tombs. To further contrast the two types, one mouthed off to Jesus while the others worshiped him and asked for personal considerations.

She was a pretty girl before she was starved and dehydrated.

The priests and parents were charged with manslaughter because they caused this by doing the exorcism for months in secret. Alot of people will point to the crazy things she said in the tapes regarding demons and religious objects, but they don't seem to consider that she was "exorcised" for TEN MONTHS. Considering the small amount of tape, and the fact they were priests and the family was extremely religious, it's not shocking they got that. She was depressed and then began to hear voices. They said she had an aversion to religious objects which is why they went for the priests.

She was simply mentally ill. Sad story.

German Bishop-Conference later declared that Anneliese Michel was not possessed, however, many believers still to this day felt she was afflicted by diabolical torment and possession.

They would say that seeing how they failed to bring about the desired result. They should have noticed early that "this kind goes out only by much prayer and fasting". As it is, their failure represents a total lack of authority.

Perhaps if you read the greater in depth book by Kasper Bullinger called Annelise Michel you will understand what I mentioned in previous posts.

Annelise wrote to her mother “To reach heaven, nothing is too much for me … I am willing to give my life for others, for the sake of God, and expect His reward rather than human reward”

Most concerning of all at the trial experts stated that they would firstly use a tranquilizer to calm her, then they would fed her by force, and, as a “final act”, they would apply on Anneliese an electroshock therapy!

Obviously, all against her will …

I am not sure what is worse, dying from starvation of having my brain fried. I'll need to reflect on that one.

That familiarity is probably illness.

This is her (before she was allowed to starve and dehydrate following ten months of exorcism).

She was a girl with depression, seizures, and likely schizophrenia. Since she was considerably religious the voices naturally took on religious connotations (think unwanted thought syndrome - but based about religion).

That is one way to look at the issue but there is also the way as stated in the Youtube presentation. It is clear to me that the priest had authority from the church and from God to preform exorcists but it is my opinion the exorcism was not properly done. Let me explain why,

Depending on what spirit has invaded the host depends on how the exorcism should be done. The spirit identified itself as Nero. In life, Nero was a powerful dictator not a weak individual .... meaning the evil spirit within the host is strong.

Now expelling weaker spirits can simply be done with the name of our Lord Jesus Christ - see Luke Chapter 10.

However there becomes an issue with this (expelling evil spirits) when the apostles ask our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ why sometimes it does not work in expelling the demons and our Lord became upset with them because by now he had expected his apostles to already know that FASTING with PRAYER are the key to driving these demons out.

I too have watched the movie and saw many discrepancies ..... its only a film but made from a true story. Exorcisms can take five minutes to months maybe years...... depending on the priest who are conducting the ceremony to the infected host. If the host does not want to let go of the demon then it will never happen. If the host refuses to repent their sins it will not work.

I am skeptic of the Youtube presentation ........ I have not heard were demons reveal their true identity because once you know the true identity of the demon it makes it easier to drive them out.

Demons lie. Do not always expect to hear the truth. I believe one of the priests gravest mistakes was having a conversation with it. Entertaining the spirit is not to be tolerated. I also question the priest's capability to drive out any spirit. It is a known fact .... that it does not take a priest from the church to drive out a evil spirit.

ANYONE and I mean ANYONE who has the authority from our Lord and savior Jesus Christ can do this. It is not a parlor trick. The same goes with healing the sick.

Do you want know more?

Not true. Not everyone is protected and not everyone believes in our Lord or in God which leaves them open to attacks.

I don't think they were starving her, but rather that she refused to eat and drink. Had they been in hospital, they could have given her IV fluids and tube feeds.

Believe or not I understand how you feel. God loves you but you don't love him....... and he still loves you.

These bad things that happen do not come from God but from the dark side. The god of this world is Lucifer and everything in this world has been given to him ........ for a time BUT soon the Lord Jesus Christ will take back what belongs to God the Father and himself (of course) and Lucifer along with his followers we see the "Lake of Fire" meaning - eternal death.

The way the world is going we might see it in our life time.

Which is one of the things the priest should have done and one of the reasons for his conviction. Today most exorcists know this.

I'm a Deist. I recognize there is a creator, but that was this entity's sole function - to create our world.

Now it sits back and watches the carnage.
