Let you know why you are going to Vegas this September??

If you don't know why you are going, how are we supposed to know why?

What happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas is only supposed to occur IN Vegas... Not before you actually get there.

I've been to Vegas once. All I can say is I hope you don't have tinnitus. All of the dinging bells and whistles drove me straight up the wall. I spent most of my time there hiking in the desert.

I would suggest to you to try the restaurant "Holsteins" in the Cosmopolitan hotel/casino.

They do gourmet burgers. The most incredible I ever have eaten.

The food is INCREDIBLE!

Not too pricey.

Filthy and corrupt. I hated it. The whole place is seedy.

I went for a week once. There were these guys who ran a business where they rent out ATVs to people and take everyone on a tour around trails in the desert for a few hours. It was pretty fun.

The Gun Store was a lot of fun. Full auto indoor shooting range.
Although, this new place opened up since the last time I was there that I'd love to try called Battlefield Vegas.

It looks like they have a much bigger weapon selection and will come pick you up at your hotel in a Humvee.

The National Atomic Testing Museum is pretty interesting if you are into that stuff.

The Gold and Silver Pawn shop from "Pawn Stars" is on the strip just a ways past the Stratosphere.

The Imperial Palace has a pretty nice car museum on the fifth floor of their parking structure.

The Golden Nugget has the "Hand of Faith" on display, which is the largest gold nugget ever found. And the last time I was there, they also had a gold dispensing vending machine. Where else are you going to see one of those?

And a ways out of town, of course, is Hoover Dam. It's one of those marvels of engineering that I think everybody should see at least once in their lives.

cirque du soleil - Ka at the MGM.

Phantom Of The Opera at The Venetian.

I suggest you visit Hoover Dam while there. If you enjoy engineering triumphs by man it's well worth seeing. It's been over 40 years since I was there and it still impresses me when I see it. My dad worked on part of the power station while it was being built so there's a slight family tie to it. Enjoy your trip and have safe fun. My best,
