What? Their books spoke against it as I have posted, this sounds like a farce to me, sure there has been gay Christians through the ages, but secret gay society? Well maybe a secret 'happy' society, but the early Christians were persecuted so much that happiness only came with the knowledge that they were saved from that 2nd death.

Why do you think they were persecuted? Why do you think they are persecuted today? It depends on the translation.

They were persecuted because they refused to worship Caesar and they refused to deny Christ. Not because they were homosexual, hell the Romans loved sexual promiscuity.
