This is so simple and easy but the taste is amazing, thought I'd throw it out there if nobody has tried it.

Bacon pepper wrapped tator tots.

1 lb. of bacon 9 (or 2 lbs. if there are more than 4-5 people)
bag of tator tots
jalapeno peppers ( canned whole peppers)
Green chili peppers (can of sliced green chili's)
box of tooth pics

remove the bacon from package and cut it in half (so it's half as long)

Half thaw the tots

place small piece of pepper against tot and roll it up inside a piece of bacon

stick toothpick through to keep bacon rolled

deep fry till bacon is crispy

For something so simple they are amazingly good. Made about 80 of them, some plain, some with jalapeno, and some green chili.
They were all gone in minutes. Have to make more next time,

people just devour them.

****OPPS*** sorry, I just saw another thread on this recipe. should have checked first. MODS remove if ya want to.

for really spicy leave the seeds, for kinda spicy cut them out.

pack the halves with plain cream cheese

wrap with bacon using toothpicks to hold the bacon on

That's funny.

I sometimes forget things have different names around the world.....

I wonder if they taste the same?

I would imagine you have a different variety of potatoes there than we have here.

Haha me too! i remember trying to explain to an American that thongs are shoes here not underwear like there after a very awkward miscommunication haha!
Well too me potatoe gems taste similar too hash browns i havent had any American potatoes so im not sure but i know your cheese and eggs are alot different, eggs are white mostly there but a darker colour here and cheese is alot more yellow too but they say thats because cows eat more corn there? Dont know if theres fact too that but ours is always a more pale yellow and tastes different.. Although on a trip to Canada everything there tasted the same as here so iassume your food would be similar to theirs!

Well because I love tater tots, bacon and Jalapeño peppers, I really have to try this.

While on the subject of Jalapeños, I grow them. They are very easy to grow. My thing is grilling them on my BBQ.

They are really good with steak and even on hot dogs. I recently added them to my potato salad, and it's the best potatoe salad I have ever had.

Remove the seeds after or before grilling, and throw some sweet relish and boiled eggs in it as well. Love the sweet & spicy.

Thanks for the recipe. ~$heopleNation
