Why aren't the most flagged threads on ATS not updated?

I like to go on to the forum selection, pick a topic, then choose the option 'flags', and start reading the most popular threads on that topic.
The problem is, not many are even worth bothering to read anymore, because most of the videos have been removed, or the images which correlated to the thread can no longer be seen.

I will give you just a few examples.

Free Documentaries

UFO Releases Intelligent Spheres

Although the above does have the video on the last page, kind of not the point.

10 Unexplained Phenomena That You (Probably) Never Heard of

Now I'm only nitpicking a few but they're plenty more which probably should be updated considering they're a part of ATS history imo.



Of course we can easily research them for ourselves, but not eveyone on ATS is computer savvy enough to do that.

I agree, that they should be updated.
Shouldn't it be the responsibility of the thread creator to update the videos and links though?

(I check my older threads from time to time, or add something, and make sure everything is working.)

It wasn't a request, just a question mixed with a hint

But If you want to go near my feet then, safety googles are required

Some of the oldies are really the goodies. And updates on an OP run out after two hours, so to update videos, etc., the writer of the thread, or anyone else who wants to update it, has to probably go through a moderator to assist with an update.
