Washington Waterboarders.

If thats taken then:

Washington Border Patrol.

What's a border patrol? I'm American, and I don't believe we have one of those.

They are like those people you see standing in line for a ride.

Oh wait! Are those the guys in uniform that give rides to the "Dreamers" so they can get in line to collect entitlements?

And don't forget to vote democrat. Don't leave that out. Then you've nailed it.

Lol, that's on the way out when they ask you if you want a photo but in this case a passport.

I may be an illegal, but that doesn't make me a criminal.... lol.

But they get offended.

Their being offended doesn't rate?

Is there an "Offense" scale that justifies some and ignores others?

What's the threshold for being offended?

If you dont understand why some people find it offensive to use a term that means the scalp of a dead native, cant help you there.

You didn't answer my question.

Is PETA's being offended by a word simply less?

If so, why? Why doesn't their being offended rate?

I never said you didn't have that right (though it does indicate a rather thin skin), I'm merely commenting that you missed the point of the reply above.

What team has a name that would be offensive to peta, does any team torture animals, or use fur as a uniform.

Ok, I'm going to be the turd in the punchbowl.

For those who say "get over it, it's no big deal" about the term "redskin", would you say the same if it were the "Philadelphia Porch Monkeys", the "San Fransisco Chinks", "Houston Honkies", "Detroit Towel Heads," or "Miami Wetbacks?" Redskin is viewed by many as being no less derogatory than any other racial slur. There's some hipocracy at work here if you're against and offended by the latter slurs but are fine with the term "redskin."

The sense of nostalgia and tradition among sports fans (I'm one myself), can cloud our better judgement sometimes. The name has got to go.

Shall I 'work' on them until they coincide with your point of view? That does seem to be the goal you're working towards.

So where do we draw the line?

If you want to get down to it.

I am offended by the word "Football".

I mean really, who puts the words foot and ball together ?

What if it reminds me of a time I got kicked in the groin ?

Am I suppose to relive that event every time I hear the word ?

Hey, getting offended is fun.

Saying i am not thick skined and using a baseball analogie to say i missed my point is not sharing an opinion, so if you have anything to share about the op, not how you feel about me plz do share.
