Can't see why you'd think that. I lurked for a couple of years before formalising my presence here.

Thought I'd drop in and say hi, since I'm brand new here too. Seemed silly to start my own newby thread when you are getting lots of posts here on how to use the site I just joined and jumped in as well - wondering if I should have lurked first!

And I figured I'd do the same, even though I unfortunately must conform to the cliche and say that I've been a lurker for months, and decided do join. The reason was that I see that many great news articles do not get discussed in here, or even mentioned as a matter of fact. As my field of expertise is in physics, I figured I'd help as much as possible. And besides, I like conspiracy theories and find/found that some of them have merit.
