Lol..sorry bout that.

I work with three of them today, 2 viets, ones been here 20yrs and the other 5 and 1 Laos, been here 8 yrs.

Other than that, all I can really offer is my opinion.

As to how many I personally know: well, im fully submersed into the asian culture here. Im pretty much considerded a "cracker asian"
So I would say anywhere from 30-50 that I personally know and communicate with on an average basis.

Vietnamese and Lao accents are nothing like the Malay accent! It is like comparing a cockney with Texan drawl. Thailand is a close neighbor but does not sound like Malay or Thai. The only accents that come close are Singaporean (basically the same) and Bahsa Indonesian which is a similar language with a thicker accent!

They know where it is and what happened. They just don't want anybody to ever know. I hope karma catches up with these monsters, all of them.

I still haven't quite finished watching the full program and will do so this morning, but I think with Malaysia's Defence Minister there are two important issues.

He has admitted that the Malaysian Air Force knew the plane was missing early in the game, was tracking it on radar as it headed out over the Indian Ocean and not only did nothing to inform the civilian air controllers where the plane was, but did not attempt to contact the plane and did not scramble jets to look at the plane and worst of all did not inform a multi-nation task force that it was looking in the wrong place (the South China Sea) for the plane.

It is no wonder the Defense Minister was spooked during the interview.

So then what did he do? He attempted to deflect interest in Malaysian screw-ups, irresponsibility and incompetence over to the Americans by introducing a veiled insinuation into the interview that the Americans may have had something to do with the disappearance of the aircraft because the Americans would shoot down a civilian aircraft. (He's correct on that. They did shoot down an Iranian airliner over the Persian Gulf some years back.)

The question is, was the Malaysian Defense Minister grasping at the American option out of shear desperation as a "one villain fits all" scapegoat or was he letting the cat out of the bag, because he actually has solid reasons, radar or Malaysian Air Force pilot eyewitnesses, to believe that MH 370 was shot down in the area of Diego Garcia, most probably by the American military?

Fascinating information, cheers for sharing. What a sinister mystery. It smelled fishy from the get-go, but after watching this I'm both disgusted and further confused. Those poor families man... I hope some closure comes of this one day soon, because no one deserves to suffer this solemn fate. That many people shouldn't just disappear in the modern era. So many people have failed to perform their duty towards their fellow man during this tragic situation that I can't really find the words to express how disgusted I am with those involved. Not that they'd care, the minister of defense seems like he's got more important things to worry about than a missing passenger jet.

Like covering his own ass by feigning ignorance and putting on a smug & confident sh#t-eating grin. Pfft. What a clown. Who elects these people?

The possibility that the plane was shot down is a reasonable enough proposition. The USA has done it at least once, one absolutely confirmed, the Russians have also done it at least once, again absolutely confirmed.

Have the Malaysians become the newest members of this dubious club, as with most people I sincerely hope not, I'm not holding my breath though. Especially after seeing the performance from the minister for defence.

Poll Results: What happened to missing flight MH370?

originally posted by: SkepticOverlord
Well folks, there's an aspect to these results that is both shocking and embarrassing. I'm not going to mention it and see who picks up in the stunning revelation within the results. I had to double check the data, double check again, and then… I don't know… just sat in a corner for a while. Otherwise, the results are not unexpected.

So what is the "shocking and embarrassing aspect" in the poll results that Skeptic Overlord refers to?

Does it have something to do with the totals not adding up?

Anybody know?

Check out how many Yanks have no idea what they're on about. Compared to 'the rest of world' a term that eludes many Americans.

Is that the "shocking and embarrassing aspect"???

It looks more like people mocking the poll.

If the number of people polled were higher the saboteur effect would be much smaller.

I'm not shocked in the least, but whoever created the poll should definitely be embarrassed.

The arithmetic isn't close to adding up.

After watching this I think it's becoming more obvious they mishandled this situation, know it, and won't admit it. If that plane did crash, no matter the reason, they have no idea where to look, waited to long to move the search area, and now there is know beacon from the black box. Maybe Malaysia shot the plane down? Someone else shot it down? Electrical failure? Hit by something causing it to immediately decompress. The pilot could have taken it off course, then decided not to, or couldn't continue to where he was going to take it, and just ran it out of fuel flying blind? So many questions we will never know answers to because Vietnam, and Malaysia didn't do their jobs, so there is information that cannot ever be looked into.

I think MH370 is in the ocean, and will be like trying to find the titanic. Someday, some researcher will stumble across pieces, or the fuselage, engines, and then who knows if they can even bring it back to the surface. Those subs had a hard enough time showing us how they would pick up the black box in the robotic arms.

I don't think he was saying the US is involved, I took from his interview that:
1) The US would shoot down a UFO, but Malaysia won't because of nationals, and Chinese souls on board. Don't need to start a war.
2) Referring to 9/11.
3) Referring to TWA Flight 800 (That crashed off east coast near New York.)
4) Or just trying to make himself look like he did the right thing, while the big boys in US would have done the wrong thing.

If this was a US plane, or in US air space, US would send jets up to escort it back down (what if they were flying blind?) Or yes, maybe shoot it down if it was a hijack threat, but regardless, the US would have sent a search and rescue team and have recovered the air craft within hours.

And then announce on the news how terrorist hijackers caused the US to execute 230+ innocent people?

I don't think so.

Deny, deny, deny is the only way to prevent the bad guys from winning.

BTW they struck again yesterday: www.dailymail.co.uk...
