I have often wondered how long black projects take to become open audited SR71, F117 B2 etc so if the Aruora is built when the government will admit to it

I would think that it depends on how radical the technology is. I mean, it's almost certain that there are aircraft that were built a half of a century ago that we don't know about. Why the secrecy after 50 years? It has to be the technology.

If I had to guess though, I would say that the military only unveils aircraft to the public when they already have another aircraft (or spacecraft) that is at least a generation ahead of the unveiled vehicle.

Aurora was the B-2 funding. There’s nothing to reveal. The time to reveal from development depends on the program. The SR-71 was revealed before it flew, while the F-117 was only revealed because they had to fly during the day for training.
