I can't find information on why flags don't work.

To flag a thread means its either:

Important News
An Important exposure

or occasionally used for ass kissing.

I think new members have to earn some abilities including flagging.
20 posts perhaps?

The amount of flags determines the threads position on the board.

Flags mean "I surrender!".
The more flags you have, the more times you can go to 'war' with other posters.

Seriously, they are to show accolades for an exceptionally good thread.

I think I like the go to war idea better then what it is realy for now.
I thought they were something entirely different.
Thank you both for the help, I looked everywhere and couldn't find any information on it other then they are there and thats it!

I use flags to mark important threads so that they will have a better chance of being seen by more people. I use stars to propagate my ideals when they are held by other posters.
