Has it really got that bad? Attention spans appear to be dropping but what ...... two lines is too much?

Do we really have to reduce it to one line?

To deny ignorance one has to look at the details.

TLDR

Stay tuned for paragraph sized titles that are longer than the OP.

Look at it this way... by the time you read those two lines you are pretty sure if you want to read it or not. It could save time.

Bright side and all that jazz.

Title should be concise and understanding once you glance at them. Someone should not have to click on the title to read the actual title. The long titles are usually caused by improper wording or sentence.

Me, I'm wondering why people bother to make 2 liners titles when it can't be written completely for lack of space, and don't bother to finish it in the first sentence of their threads, like you did here. lol

Its another ploy to garnish attention, you have to click to see what got left out. It works. Breakfast cereal companies do it.

What bothers me is when people write a two-liner, but it's too long, and once they click "post", the title gets cut at the end. Then I click in the thread but the title isn't repeated there. So you never know what was the original title...

LOL that is exactly what happened to me!

I had to edit the remainder of the title in....

Some forums require a source story be copied exactly.

Without editing the title.
