A petrified stump of sorts? Strangely shaped things up there.

It looks to me like it is also kicking up dust. Which is strange considering that the winds don't seems to be kicking anything else up anywhere in that photo.

The stuff of nightmares (or at least a bug in the soup).

I like the shadow of the woman with a ponytail, and if you look at it another way it's the shadow of a dude's face with large hair (the woman's breast shadow is, in the dude perspective, his nose).

Looks like a flash frozen ground hog!!

Both are nice finds!

If you zoom in I swear you can see toes and its facial features. Nice find there are lots of cool things in this one. Back to study it some more. Good job.

Awesome! Thanks for bringing that to our attention, as I missed the (supposed) dust at first glance. Regardless of what it really is, my imagination is running wild: Rock creatures on mars! It turns out everyone was right!!! They' were aliens AND rocks the whole time!
I'm not joking 100% I want it to be true...

It looks to me like the "rock" has fingers, and facial features. The "Arms" seem bipedal.

On second glance it almost looks like the "rock" is wearing a robe. There is also no comparable rock in this scene. The rest show roundness and erosion from millions of years of wind blasting.

Probably just a really weird rock, but it's a a good find. Star and Flag.

1st one i would have to agree with an above poster a fossilized tree stump or even just a randomly shaped rock, second one is a cool shadow

That's not an adam's apple, it's the collar of her blouse. And going with the other way of looking at it, it's the guys eyebrow/eye-socket ridge.
