Well personally I think all war is a crime, the irony that murder is seen as deeply wrong and against the law everywhere except when you do it on behalf of your rulers, for their personal gains and ambitions is totally lost on people.

I am still keeping an eye on the latest developments here. South African has accused Israel of genocide. The death toll continues to rise and is over 24,000 now.
Then a Palestinian-American boy was recently killed by Israeli forces.

The moment Hamas said we dont have control of the hostages some have been handed off to other groups, the end result was put in stone.

It sucks, I hate that kids are always the ones to suffer the most in war, but choices have consequences and while people suffer and die under hamas there are nearly 2 million palestinians that are citizens of israel and doing quite well for a minority group in the ME.

The ICJ reached a decision, and have ordered Israel to do what it can to prevent genocide, but stopped short of odering cease fire. I'm not sure yet how effective that will be. The death toll is now up over 26,000.

International Court of Justice takes Israel’s side against South Africa

With so many international organizations being antisemitic these days, it’s a little surprising when one actually takes the side of Israel.

But that’s essentially what happened today when the International Court of Justice refused to order Israel to halt its war in Gaza to exterminate Hamas because South Africa could not make its case. Not that it matters because the ICJ doesn’t have jurisdiction over the state of Israel.

But it’s nonetheless a victory for Israel.

ALSO ... The ICJ has ZERO teeth to enforce any 'that's genocide' declaration they may have given. Israel would have been under no obligation to listen to them at all.

The Court of the Hague has passed provisional measures against Israel.

1. By 15 votes to 2. Israel must conform to Genocide Convention. Must take all measures to prevent killing Palestinian civilians, not preventing their birth, denying them basic needs, etc.

2. By 15 votes to 2. Israel must ensure its military conforms immediately to these measures as well as its government.

3. By 16 votes to 1. Israel must move to prevent genocide in the Gaza strip Must allow humanitarian assistance to enter freely.

4. By 15 votes to 2. All evidence related to genocide charges must be preserved by Israel.
