Here's an interesting article from The Guardian regarding whistle blowers from the International Energy Agency.

It would seem our oil supplies are not as big as we have been led to believe.

www.guardian.co.uk...

an example of how TPTB control what we know about our resources.

Thanks for posting, I saw this headline in yesterday's papers review (on BBCs Newsnight?) but I couldn't remember which paper ran it this morning. Nobody else seems very interested in responding? I wonder whether that's because this is becoming a broadly accepted 'truth' within this community, or perhaps people are becoming over-loaded with the sheer volume of bad news hitting the wires lately.

It surely adds more poignancy to the recent ATS post re: the real motivation for Allied presence in Afghanistan being the securing of the route of the a forthcoming (Turkmenistan>India?) oil pipeline?

Sorry but this really makes me worry about the food supply connotations...

This has also been reported in a Swiss Newspaper. Watch for oil price to go up as this news spreads.
I hope, this turn of events promotes alternative energy and fuel, but I fear it will lead more war and suffering.
