I have long been expecting engineers and neuroscientists to eventually adapt a prosthetic to use the exiting nervous system to allow users to actually feel and have control of what they manipulate with them. This feat of engineering is the most important breakthrough in prosthetic research, not to mention cybernetics, EVER.

The Future Is Here: Man Gets Prosthetic Hand That Can Feel

It may seem like something out of science fiction but nine years after a man in Denmark lost his left hand in a fireworks accident, he has received a prosthetic hand that allows him to feel objects.

The future is now indeed.

Luke: wow! this robot hand works great!
Anakin:yes but watch it when you hold onto your WIfes neck.

Anyway.. One step closer to Prothetic bodies. I want one. Imagine being able to switch your entire body out by moving your brain to another one one day.
