Does anyone know of any experts (personally or not) about becoming a Sovereign Citizen? Or maybe a lawyer with knowledge about this subject?

Thanks!

Josh

Seems SC's are deemed practically terrorists by FBI:
www.fbi.gov...
"Sovereign Citizens A Growing Domestic Threat to Law Enforcement By the FBI's Counterterrorism Analysis Section"

THREAT! Now why is that our government and it's agencies their favoritest word?

Maybe it's better you not travel down that road, there is nothing they can get away with that we can't. It's a load of bull in the end.

It is the governments job to govern, people who refuse to be governed, by the very definition are a danger to government.

Sure, most of them are sitting in prisons, mental wards, or are dead...
The sovereign movement (under all its different names) is an internet scam that sounds good on paper, and it's marketed to people who are desperate. Its holds no water in the real world, or in a real court. There is tons of case law against all their practices, and all the original ring leaders have ended up one of the three ways I mentioned above, prison, committed, or dead.

Which makes people who fall for it, and "believe" inherently dangerous, thus the FBI warning.

I am not trying to become a Sovereign Citizen, I just want to interview one for my youtube show or just interview an expert on the matter.

Thanks for the responses

Oh hah, well best of luck to you then.

Just one more warning though, don't buy into what they say.

People say its all BS and yet there's vids on youtube showing magistrates in the uk having to back down when faced with people who know how to present their case. I even watched one magistrate have himself arrested when he was forced to realise HE was breaking the law!

OP, go look on youtube for your info.

Can you interview people in jail or mental hospitals?

Of course you can show us these court cases....

Of course you cannot, none actually exist!

States are federally governed yet retain sovereignty as individual state within them their own laws and rights internally. Why can't natural persons be federally governed yet retain sovereignty as individual persons within them their own laws and rights internally?

Translation: Of course I cannot show you any proof for my silly claims!

You made the claims, you should back those claims up.... if you can!

There are some legal cases listed on the wiki about Sovereign Citizen Movement.

Some names listed there might be searchable and up for interview.

As far as the concept goes, I personally think it's only viable as a concept when there's no one else around that can enforce any interpretation of any law on anyone.
It's a little like Quantum States.
In other words, way out in the woods, ocean, or the middle of a desert, anywhere no one else can observe you, anything goes ... so long as you don't get caught. Once there's anyone to observe you, your waveform collapses into legal responsibility under the jurisdiction of any X representation.

If it was real you could point out the actual court cases.... and there would be more people doing it

I would change my mind if you could point out the actual court cases where a sovereign citizen won on their claims.

None of those cases resulted in a win for any "sovereign citizen", as expected!
