Battleline

Is it me or is this catastrophic event being swept under the preverbal carpet ? That's almost as insane as the event its self.

What do you want to see?

In my Opinion:
When you think that this is under a "preverbal Carpet" you should look for it,
i am able to locate every single Day new Information about the Circumstances
in and around the Plant.

When you want to see "this Carpet" look for the US American Wars
or the religious introduced Wars between Muslims and Christians in Africa,
look for the Hunger in the World, etc., etc.!

Fact: Fukushima is the most investigated and most observed industrial Accident!

Bold by me.

I think Chernobyl or TMI etc. has Fukushima by quite a few years as the most investigated and most observed industrial accident, in regards to nuclear plant accidents. Fukushima is an on-going event.... you can't draw final conclusions from it....it's just not possible.

Chernobyl, Hanford, Bhopal, etc. all is ongoing!

Fact is that you hear mostly nothing from there

I can remember Chernobyl very well because i was a active Student in that Time,
we had one Report a Week provided by Itar-TASS, a Soviet News Provider,
and we had no Internet!

We needed to read Books and needed to participate in Group Discussion,
a wonderful Time but also really Time Consuming, now i can read the News
in my daily Train Rides and can chat with everyone!

I research Fukishima all the time and like your response I get nothing but contradictions. My point was that no one seems to know anything about anything or what to do.

But if you had read my post you might have seen that but instead your spinning this off to "Muslims and Christians in Africa " really ??

Maybe i do not understand you 100% but i am not Native
in English which is a very strange Language for me,
please excuse my rude Answer!

There are not so many Contradictions like you may think,
in fact in the Academic Circle Fukushima is a highly
discussed topic because it open up many Doors.

Fact is, for example, the Cores need cooling,
they need to stop the flow of contaminated Water
and in a few Years they need to remove the Cores
and store all this Dirt, Debris and Rubble.

Another Fact is that Radioactivity is measurable,
we are able to locate her and for a protection of the Hive,
different People, Universities, institutes in the whole
northern Hemisphere are looking for it!

The only hot discussed Topic is the biological Impact
but this is depending on which School you belong,
one Group said: "every bit of Radioactivity is bad
and even lethal" and the other Group is saying something different,
you need to use empiric Data and your Intellect
to get a Opinion and cant wait for someone else to decide
this matter.

I mentioned the Topics because all this happen
really behind of the Curtain, Fukushima is still
in the Top-Position compared to that Topics

Move this into the Hoax section. Kelp watch has a twitter. These Fukushima threads are straight trolling. Give it up.

So as this thread has an opposing view to your own thread started in January 2014, you think this should be classed as a Hoax? Thanks for your contribution, a little bias I would say. And if and WHEN the Kelp Watch 2014 do find isotopes that can be directly linked to fukushima, shall I come and troll your thread and request it gets moved to the Hoax Bin?

Did it ever occur to you that past observations by the Japanese may have been tweaked or doctored in order to protect their economy and exports?

Did it occur to you that observations which result in removing sea food from the marketplace because of unsafe levels of contamination don't do much to protect the economy and exports?

Phage, how do you sleep at night?

Instead of actually agreeing with a very distinct possibility that Japan (Tepco) has not been exactly forthcoming regarding the levels of radiation, you counter with a retort to "save face". CLEARLY, we already know the levels of radiation have been misreported as per Tepco's announcements over the past few months. We already know Japan has passed a gag order (for a lack of a better word) regarding any information leaks from the country. And yet...and YET, you just sat there straight faced and typed out "Did it occur to you that observations which result in removing sea food from the marketplace because of unsafe levels of contamination don't do much to protect the economy and exports" just to contradict an opposing stance.

And you have the audacity to claim you like to separate "fact" from "fiction"? All you ever do is contradict. Regardless if your debating opponent has a point. Your stance is to refute any points. It's your standard M.O and it concerns me to no end. Fact from fiction, yea right. What was your previous signature about Twain again? Something along the line of "know the facts then distort them as you please", isn't that right bacteriophage?

How do you sleep at night?

What are you talking about? The title of your thread is completely false!

There are people posting don't swim in the ocean and don't eat Pacific caught seafood. Orly????

If you had actually read the whole thread you would have noted that I had already stated that the author of the article had jumped the gun with the title. That being said it is my understanding that when using articles from other sites you have to use the title from the article, word for word as per the ATS T&Cs.

So what if people on this thread have stated they don't want to eat food from the Pacific Ocean, I love sushi myself but wont eat it at the moment or anything else that comes from the Pacific Ocean until such time I know its completely safe.

You see the issue with ATS regarding these kinds of threads is people like you who say "nothing to see here, carry on" do so in such a detrimental and obnoxious way" that its very hard to take you seriously. You and others seem to think that by attacking other threads who do not agree with your own points of view will change the opinions of others. As I discussed with Phage earlier on in this thread, nothing wrong with discussing the issues but once you start getting personal and thinking you know everything that there is to know about this subject, you loose a lot of credibility. Want to make a change? change the way you converse with other users on ATS.

Sorry, that's news to me.

It's news to you, that almost three years after the event, the cleanup process is in full swing? Do you live under a very large rock?

Well my rock still has access to the news and the fuel rods did not start to get moved until the end of 2013. With that said these rods are the most crucial part of the clean up and its only just began.

www.theguardian.com...

Just like others on here who have opposing views to your own, you have to get personal. The clean up is very far from being in full swing.....

I don't see any rainfall test on that page. Even did a text search for rain, rainfall, precipitation. NADA.

Isn't it airborne contamination that gets into rain? Don't you think air samples would cover that?

Doesn't rain end up in soil? Don't you think soil samples would cover that?

The professor, Matthew Edwards, from the San Diego University was contacted by a member on another forum. He replied to the email saying that no testing in that area had come back yet, and that the tests were just beginning. Media sensationalism? Here is a link to the thread on that forum with the email message in full:
