I don't know if it's been said, but the device relies on future batteries with 30 times current battery capacities. So one day maybe.

Cool find. I can see the Waring label:

Caution, Do NOT tie rocks to your feet and see how far you can submerge before imploding. Voiding the warranty will be the Last of your worries.

One thing that people are forgetting on this thread is that this could also be adapted to separate hydrogen and oxygen cheaper and more efficiently providing an adaptation to future concept vehicles to be powered by water. Water is poured into the tank, the adapted device separates the hydrogen molecules from the oxygen and the car could be powered by either and any "exhaust" would be just water vapor or air. Cheap green vehicles for everyone and with little to no downside. Unfortunately, car companies would do their best to try and stop this because there is so much money to be made off of the newer models of the most inefficient internal combustion engines and electric hybrid engines.

However, this device does not separate water into hydrogen and oxygen, it extracts dissolved air from water.

Nonetheless, no device that DOES separate water into its constituents will ever allow you to power a car for "free". It takes more power to separate the water than you can regain by burning it. Car companies wouldn't have to do anything, because it won't work.

Just an update on this. Seems there was a lot that wasnt been told, and after some pressure, they have admitted that it needs a liquid oxygen cartridge and are refunding people.

Since launching we have been protecting our proprietary technology because it’s so important to our success, but after careful consideration we think it’s important to share these details and clarify how the device works. Inside of each Triton, the artificial gills utilize “liquid oxygen”, which combined with the other components allow users to breathe underwater, which you can see in the video above. We will release more information about the ‘liquid oxygen’ cylinders and safety strap.

Press release

Funny that in their cut away drawings there is no mention of this "liquid oxygen" cylinder, so where is it hidden?

wonders why " liquid oxygen " and not liquid oxygen ?

my answer would be - its scam version 1.01

I actually think it is just a marketing exercise, it is really just showing how easily the gullible can be separated from their money!

Doesn't oxygen need to be super cooled to become a liquid?

Exactly. After the backlash, adjust the claims to seem slightly more superficially plausible and ask for money. Rinse and repeat.

Hmm...that's a real shame.

It does appear that this thing isn't all it was cracked up to be after all.

Oh come on please enough of the conspiracy. Electric car usage is increasing. The number of charging points is increasing. The cost of running an electric car is pennies compared to petrol/diesel. There will come a turning point when an electric car can be driven for 200-300 miles between charges and the cost of the car the same as petrol. Then there will be a rapid switch over. The range is increasing and the build costs are falling (plain old economics of volume). Tesla will be selling a 215 mile range car for 25k next year. Bingo the same as petrol. How come the oil companies haven't killed Elon Musk?

You saw the date on that post...right?

Over two years ago mate, and your post is pretty much an echo of Bedlams response two years ago.

Think i'll start calling you trigger.
