My ex had a thing about redheads, the whitest skin, orange freckles, carrot red hair, and the last one I know of sure wasn't pretty or even attractive on any obvious levels, including personality. I wonder if that is a thing of the media or maybe just some men naturally like certain hair colours. It has some recessive traits in the DNA I believe.

My own hair has some red tones but I generally don't like it much, preferring to go with my other more golden tones that suits my skin tone better.

At least she's using her beauty to make people more at peace with life. Alien or not, I commend her.

I think it is to do with (from my POV) I was a ginger until the age of 5 then I was cured lol.
I dunno but I appear to enjoy a fiery relationships and you can't get more fiery then Ginger women, Iam forty this year and I should have grown out of that but alas I have not yet.

Not sure if you are being serious or not.

Personally I think the whole thing is attention seeking fakery, I couldn't watch past a minute, it was disturbing. The whole sitting wearing a snake, painted nails and fake alien voice.

Her supposed message is ironic...''move away from the plastic society'' as said by a girl in a fake voice making fake alien names, painted like a doll, fake nails, posing as a Barbie doll etc.

I can't take that sort of ''message'' in such a context seriously.

I'd be her friend and let her be my spiritual guru, its alot better then listening to doom porn and at least she has perspective that is unique to her.

Maybe.

There are photo's of me looking rather ginger as a child though I have only had one ginger BF when I was about 12. I tend to lean towards light brown / golden brown haired men.

I have always wondered if there is a genetic purpose to liking hair colour, seeing as I see it as natural that I prefer men that are able to tan at least a bit, are tall, strong etc but my exes obsession for horrid, ugly, unintelligent, short, pale, ginger women threw all those theories so trying to find the logic in that one.

I know some cultures have preferences that vary from the Western 'ideal' but would be interesting to know the stats and the possible reasons.

Would you want her as your ''guru'' if she looked like Jo Brandt or Russel Brand for that matter?

Do you think her appearance might be swaying you. Also are you seriously believing her?

Personally, I think she looked better before the total Barbie look and that people with an actual message don't need a whole doll transformation to do so, or faking voices etc.

I'm not religious or spiritual to begin with so the lady has her own views I'd listen to them. It seems she gets an awful lot of haters but I'd be her friend. As far as her appearance is concerned I think that's of little importance her look is unique sure.

I think she is just trying to get rich and as such I was kinda reminded of this quote.

"I'd like to start a religion. That's where the money is!"

Her motives seem not spirituality, or the spreading of spirituality, but to sell merchandise and make herself into a brand. There is nothing but contradiction in this, and it's no strange fact that so-called greatest spiritual teachers of our time (there is a list somewhere—and yes Oprah is in the top 10) reap the biggest pay-checks.

I'm really quite sad for this girl.

It's fairly evident she's a victim of self esteem issues and mental health concerns.

She even says it herself to some extent where she remarks that she may well have been an "energy vampire" in a past life.

She claims she sees and hears things that aren't there, and she's drastically altered her appearance.
The poor girl isn't right.
What's sad as well is that she's influencing other young ladies in enabling them to emulate her as opposed to addressing the pervasive self esteem and body image issues so prevalent in Western influenced society.

It is at odds with she changed her body so much uses her appearance to promote herself and then charges $80 a person to give lectures on out of body experiences lol

Some people really are beyond attention seeking. Grotesque. Like that cat tattooed person or something.

I study art and the sublime is a research area of mine, people are naturally inclined to want to look at beautiful things, people making themselves like monsters really goes against human psychology. Disturbing.

One person's monster is another's angel. I wasn't being silly when I suggested that Maria (the girl I posted) was much closer to "perfection" than the barbie girl. I honestly do find her beautiful and would fully support my wife adorning herself in the same fashion.

A little background on that woman, by the way, is that she's an attorney with some bad (like horrible) experiences with some very evil men in the past and her body transformation has been a statement of empowerment since then. I think it worked.

If I could have anyone as my guru, Mahatma Gandhi, hands down! Why? Because he didn't want to be anyones guru, he just wanted to bring peace to India.

Anyone who self-proclaims spiritual superiority, probably isn't spiritually superior.

She isn't the only one that has suffered some things and evil men but I guess it's her choice, I think it is a bit attention seeking so if that is ointment to her wounds then I can think of better ways of garnering more worthwhile attention that empowers as well others instead.

I wonder how her kids / grand kids will feel about it and how she might when she is 65 and can't chew because of fangs and it looks like she was born that way instead of making some statement.

She looks like she was probably pretty before and there are less extreme ways of making ones self less attractive to men, if that's her aim.

There isn't anyone I can think of I would consider a spiritual guru. Swami Prabhupada's Krsna writings inspired me, though ''guru'' puts a sort of pressure and non spiritual slant on the whole thing which I think the absolute nature of spirituality goes beyond such things. It is about individuals connecting with that which is absolute and eternal.

I agree with the comment that those claiming spiritual superiority probably aren't spiritually superior and anyone claiming themselves as a leader of things spiritual, I would be suspicious about.
