Surprised he's still generally in one piece after watching the outtakes at the end. He's got some serious skills.

He?

THEM!More than one rider!

I wonder if Colnago know what's been happening with their frames?

A note to OP....I shall prod you in the chest very harshly if you call trial parkour again

Someone knows what TRIALS is?!?!?!!!?!

Lohdy lohdy, I thought Id never see the day. One of the most skilled sports out there that most people have no idea about.

Admittedly, it is generally done on a different frame for various reasons.

Still, always fun to watch, especially since I cant do downhill and trials anymore

No brakes huh? Strange... Most trials specific bikes use the brakes with the highest clamping power possible. Even up to gumming up the rims.

Anywho, if you have a bike you can get into trials. If you ride a motorcycle, it will improve your riding ability there too! Trials can be done with either a bicycle or motorcycle.

You can even do it indoors, once you get competent enough.

Start with trackstands and work your way from there!

Indoors,eh?I'd then have to explain the black stripes everywhere^^

I'm a member of a trial club,but in the mountainbike arm.
Trialers can do insane things but I'm just too clumsy.

If you haven't seen it before,here's Danny MacAskill at work:

If the vid isn't working check out_Danny MacAskill's Imaginate_on YT

You didnt hear it from me, but you know those Mr. Clean Magic Erasers? They work quite well for many, many things...

I actually use to move around my house on my bike, though I did avoid furniture despite the urge. Stairs are great training tools.

Fixed your vid link for ya.
I havent seen that one before, but am definitely aware of MacAskill. Either way, its a better vid than the one I posted (I just picked the first one that showed up in relation to the trackstand tutorial
)

ETA: Sorry, should have explained how I fixed the vid. You only put the "video number" into the box. To see what I mean, you can click quote on my post here, and see how it is laid out!

i was looking through the other videos posted by the guy that put up the vid i posted. a guy on his team had a bmx looking bike. no brakes. the seat was cut in half. had a real small sprocket on it and pegs.
he wasnt doing this crazy off road stuff though. he was doing it on flat ground.
freestyle i guess. like rodney mullen but with a bike

do they use solid rubber tires? no tubes?
im glad i sound out about this. im a fan for life now.
these dudes are nasty. theyre doing stuff on bikes that i cant do on foot.

back in the day i was into bmx. im talking 25 years ago. before matt hoffman. before the tricks started getting nutty. back then the table top was a nasty trick you know.

i cant believe the tires dont burst under all the pressure when landing.

Trialers generally run really low pressure in their tyres,race bikes have to be much higher.

(Thanks for the Vid tip Serdgiam but I still can't get it to work.....I'm just
as pants with a computer as I am on my bike
)
