Report: Unions Funding GOP Super PAC That Targets Tea Party?

Sounds a bit ironic but perhaps it's true given the possibility that the "GOP" named pac is run by known RINO Republicans.

This "Tea Party" sure has stirred up a bunch of resistance eh.

What *ARE* they so scared of anyway ... Less Government interference?

On Monday, the National Journal reported that "documents filed by other groups show that two labor organizations, the International Union of Operating Engineers and the Laborers' International Union of North America, directed a combined $400,000 to the Republican group [the Defending Main Street super PAC] in September and October."

The Defending Main Street super PAC was organized at the end of 2012 by former Congressman Steve LaTourette (R-OH), and has very publicly declared war on the Tea Party. It is affiliated with and has offices at the same location as the Republican Main Street Project, which LaTourette currently heads and which former Congressman Tom Davis (R-VA) led from 2009 to 2012.

Former Congressman Steve LaTourette (R-OH) is a RINO apparently.

Why else would ultra Left Wing Unions be involved with "Republicans" ?

Hmmm.

Steve LaTourette is an example of a Rockefeller Republican who not only voted the wrong way, but viewed his mission in Congress as one of undermining conservatives and limited government principles. LaTourette is a senior member of the appropriations committee and uses his seniority and friendship with John Boehner to interject himself into every major legislative battle in a negative way. He is not happy to merely quietly vote with the left; he seeks to reshape the party in his image.
