I found an article about the testing of new small diameter bomb (125 kg=300lbs)for USAF. Unfortunately it's not in English, but it's interesting that they are saying that this bomb can glide up to 100km=55 miles distance when released from 10 000m alt. And F-22 and JSF should have op. altitude of 15 000 meters, so it should be able to fly even farther. Glider bombs are nothing new but until now they have been able to hit targets maximum 30-40km away. It is great thing, because it allows to attack targets outside the radar range, especially when flying on stealth aircraft (stealth plane can fly higher, while normal ones need to fly low in order to avoid detection .
