When you try to edit a thread 2 hours after it has been posted, you get this message:
"You have exceeded the maximum window of 4 hours allowed to edit your post"

So time is 100% ahead of time on Earth we know, meaning ATS is on Century 42 and that`s why beings here are way more evolved that on planet Earth.

I think the time allowed for editing varies according to your location.
However! I often find u2u's that I've apparently already read, even though they arrived while I was offline? I'm very surprised that still happens being as the site was recently rebuilt!

Times zones appear to make a difference, the UK is marginalised, possibly because of the daylight saving hour blah blah. The internet is pretty crappy now anyway, but that's bye the bye.

However this is really a board question. No offence but, you go and do it, I can't be bothered anymore.

I am sorry for having posted this on the general chit chat forum. Maybe I should have posted it on the jokes section instead, but, honestly this was also meant to be a compliment to the very special place ATS is and to the very special membership ATS has.

My intention here was not criticize anything nor anyone at all, just to joke a little and give a compliment at the same time.

A lesson I`ve learned here: Change your ATS avatar title from "serial joker" to "reader"

If you edit your post shortly after posting, you'll see a message above the edit box telling you how much more time is allowed for editing.
This message counts down from 120 minutes.
That is four hours in ATS time, which shows that ATS time has thirty-minute hours.
