Just watched it live.

Perfect weather for a launch. Picture perfect.

It did look a bit different than anything else I've seen when the first stage was done.

SpaceX says Falcon9 and SES8 are in good shape in parking orbit. Restart of second stage at 6:08 pm EST (2308 GMT).

Congratulations to SpaceX for for enabling 21st century commercial spaceflight!

Spacecraft separation confirmed! SES-8 is now in its targeted GEO transfer orbit.

Falcon9 has released the SES8 television broadcasting satellite into orbit.
