I've noticed people calling recent Black Fridays' deaths, injuries, and arrests as something of 'the sign of the times'.
And others, arguing that each black fridays there's just a few isolated incidents blown out of proportion, even suggesting the majority of black
friday shopping/sales are quiet, peaceful, and one person even wrote "At 8 am the crowds were lighter than a typical Saturday morning. But all the PS4
' S were gone already. " twitchy.com...
So it figures crowds settle down when the 'hot' items like more video games, tv, anything youre able to watch fighting, killing, blood, gore like the
majority of most popular US vid games.
Which makes sense when the doors open fools(?) rush in with no consideration for a more slowly, safer mob entrance.
I just stay home and shop on Cyber monday. A lot of sites are starting their Cyber Monday this weekend. Their are a lot of really good deals out
their and I don't have to worry about being trampled to death over some stupid electronics or games.

the term " black Friday" is from the fact that this day is what they say puts a store into the "black", as opposed to the "red". "black" being
making a profit, where "red" is loosing money.
IMO "black Friday" sales (which anymore start on Thursday (thanksgiving)), need to be done away with. not just because of the hazards such sales
represent, but because it FORCES those unfortunate enough to work in retail to cut the time they can spend with family on one of the biggest family
get together holidays of the year.
Its a holdover from the past. Used to be businesses kept ledgers and recorded losses in red ink and profits in black. Typically, businesses
operated at a loss all year until about Thanksgiving when their books began to show profits. Black Friday denotes that turning point and thats why
they call it Black Friday.
Americas holidays are shopping holidays. For you its about being thankful and gift giving, for corporations its about the dollars.
Seven deaths and 90 injuries so far. What was the body count at the last shooting spree? Why aren't politicians calling for a ban on Black Friday
sales? How about a law banning people without manners or common courtesy from attending these sales. How about a law requiring potential shoppers to
pass a mental health exam and a civility test to get a license to shop on Black Friday.
