The news reporter has a bluescreen showing a video of the airport, the video is streamed digitally and has a bad frame rate. He is not really standing at that position...

Some digital video cameras, when you film something that's way too overexposed or what they call hotspots, the sensors get overwhelmed and interpret the overexposed area/pixel or pixels as a black/dark spot. That's why I often see these dark pixels in the sky or somewhere close to the light source in the footage.

Just a thought.

I'm thinking that if there is a mundane explanation for what we're seeing in this video, then something like this is most likely. Does anyone know how to identify blue/green screen? If anything it almost looks like a video in the background skipping a bit and then pausing.

Thanks for the upload...but I think it might be a bug, maybe a fly or something? It could be something, but it could just be a bug. I dunno. ^^

Dude, you need to read the rest of the thread. Not a blue screen. He was reporting from the airport. As has been proved from his twitter photos etc. lets move on from Blue/green bloody screens thanks.

Here is Rico making that broadcast. Note no blue screen JUST PLAIN OLD AIRPORT. Look at the angle of the aircraft in his broadcast to this photo. this was taken on another balcony or to the far right of that balcony, as the angles have changed. he published it to his Twitter account. Take not of the 747-300 in the background (blue and white one)

Great pictures but what airport is he at? There's only a few airports in the Philippines and that environment does not look familiar to me since I think I may have been to all the civilian ones. The style may look like it's in Cebu but... Eh, doesn't feel like it.

My opinion is this..it's nothing. Just like the 100000000000000 other videos out there.

No definitive proof of anything. Each video is worse then the last.
