New York City Police Commissioner Ray Kelly is in talks to take the “top security job” at JP Morgan, the New York Post’s Mark DeCambre and Beth DeFalco report.

Kelly may take the job before mayor-elect Bill de Blasio is sworn in, the Post reports. De Blasio has been an outspoken critic of Kelly’ stop-and-frisk policy.

Keeping in mind the Ray Kelly is a police commissioner of one of the largest cities in the US, I still find it a little odd that the man behind the EXTREME police tactics during the Occupy protest is being gifted with a sweet job with JP Morgan...

Report: NYC POLICE COMISSONER

JP Morgan was one of Occupy wall streets major targets, this just reeks of a quid pro quo arangement between JP Morgan and Kelly.

Occupy wall street protesters target JP Morgan

How much corruption are we willing to tolerate here?

Banks crash the economy, get bailed out, bonus their CEO's, no legal penalty, and now apparently CRUSH protest when people get upset about it...

This is exactly the type of thing that is a blemish to cops everywhere, it's things like this that fosters distrust of police.

This gives the appearance that the police are a mercenary force beholden to their corporate masters, all that's needed is a promise if future luxury jobs, and suddenly free speach is crushed.

Disturbing
to say the least.

Maybe this'll get enough attention that he won't be able to take the ride on his golden parachute. If he loses out on this position, I wonder how he's going to cover up any potential bribes he's taken (just to add an additional element of conspiracy).

Make no mistake about it, when you serve the establishment, you will be rewarded.

What was his contribution? Blatant violation and usurpation of the 4th Amendment via "stop and frisk".

Anytime these devil worshiping minions server their masters, they get a free pass.

Take magic bullet theory Arlen Specter, he went on to be a lifelong Senator.

Tons of other examples.

He can't be as corrupt as Bernard Kerik who got to train the Iraqi Police force (and failed miserably).
Ok, well maybe he can.
If it wasn't JP Morgon it would be Goldman Sachs hiring him.
Quid pro quo?
Absolutely.

Just look at Dick Cheney, just when you think evil is gonna die it pulls a Darth Vader and goes bionic...

It will be like Futurama. He'll eventually just end up a talking head in suspension fluid.

Ray Kelly's crime stats are very bogus. Check out this video:
Democracy Now whistle blowing cop

Besides the revelation that the cops need to get their quota of stop and frisks, the policeman mentions that crime stats are phonied up by changing how the event is reported. For instance, a bullet hole put into a car becomes a car damaged by a sharp object. [Bullets aren't that sharp, they just have a lot of force behind them.]

To be fair, the fascism started under Giuliani before Kelly took over, but Bloomberg did nothing to change the mentality of the NYPD.
