After spending about an hour filling in the same questions over, and over, and over, trying to get a quote for a plan, I get to what I think is the end. I am ready to fill out my digital signature. BUT WAIT! sorry, but the verification process is currently not functioning. It's expected to be back up in 24 hours.

Then I get an e-mail stating that I have a message and need to log into my account. Great! maybe they fixed it and I can get my quote. Nope. It puts me towards the beginning of my hour long process and expect me to go back and start filling the same things out?

I didn't come to the site to look for problems just to whine about them. I sincerely was hoping to get a quote and find out if we could afford to get coverage for my son.

Very, very frustrating.

give em a call, they are currently experiencing "issues" with their website, but their phone number is right there...will save you some sanity. Alternatively just wait a month, theoretically by the beginning of next month, their website is meant to be less craptacular.

Have you ever called the Government?

I'll wait and see what happens in a few weeks. I am just amazed at the problems not having been fixed thus far. This stuff is so far from rocket science. I don't even want to think about how much $ is being pissed away by red tape on this one issue alone.

Unfortunately, the NSA has all of your information by now....So the feds still got what they really wanted.

I think the NSA had my info long before I filled out these questions.

A little late to the party, aren't you?

Haven't you heard...the Waaaaambulance has moved on to crying about insurance companies canceling plans.

Actually, I think everyone is upset at the "in your face" lies told by the President of the US.

Or did I misunderstand his wording?

have some cheese

getlazarus.com...

Remember the last time you lost everything you'd typed into that web-form? And there didn't seem to be any way to get it back? Well, there's one sure way to make sure nothing like that ever happens again; you just need to

Lazarus auto-saves web-forms as you type, so if a server times out, your cat wanders across the keyboard, you close the page by accident, or anything else goes wrong, you can simply return to that page, click the Lazarus icon next to the form, and select what you want to recover. It's just that easy.

You may be able to get some prices here...although it seems no all states will recognize your subsidy......just be sure to be comfortably seated when you do this...the prices can be scary!!!!!!!!!!!

I invite you to try it out, then see if that app can help.
I am sure my information is still there, I just never got to see any quotes or ways to by the insurance I am supposed to have or get fined.

Cheddar, and make it extra sharp.

This is why I wanted to do this in the first place. I heard all about the subsidies. Being self employed, not making much money and having a kid in college, I can use all the help I can get. And if the democratic hand out system can benefit me, and I feel as if I have earned the help, I will be happy to sing it's praises.

So far, it seems the only thing that's working is the fear of fines for those who don't have coverage.

I think I'll just break my arm, twice a month, and pay cash.

It will be much, much cheaper.

sigh didn't even try it did you?
I'll keep that in mind for other subjects

enjoy filling long forms over and over again

unlike many here I've never lost a post,

I can even recover my deleted posts [hello there, ma'am]

as for applying for obamacare? no thanks, neither GOV or the IRS can find me anyway
so why should I put my neck in the noose as you have.

most peoples problems are self inflicted...

so I guess you're stuck with government cheese then...

My deductible was 6000 dollars HAHAHAHA nope! Glad I already have good insurance. I just put in my details for fun. Funny enough switching between the plans didn't change my deductible much.
