New Doomporn date: November 13th

Well, according to SpaceWeather...

"This weekend, solar activity has quieted on the Earthside of the sun, but the farside is still lively. NASA's twin STEREO probes have recorded solar flares and coronal mass ejections from multiple farside blast sites on Nov. 2th. STEREO-Behind photographed this powerful eruption around 0600 UT. The farside active regions STEREO is observing now pose no threat to Earth, but they could become geoeffective in ~10 days when the sun turns them toward our planet."

I've seen the pictures and they've seemed as Class X flares. Today is the 3rd November and in ~10 days, it will be the 13th. But killshot? Nope. Highly unlikely. Global EMP storm? Very likely. If we get a Carrington Event, that one will be fun as our high-tech civilization will get a nice reset within five minutes.

In Olivets thread about UFOs over London, which should have happened in October, he now states that he meant using wrong calendar (Julien/Gregorian) so 'October' lasts until Nov 13th/14th - which fits in with this thread quite nicely.

That thread should be required reading before any new prediction threads get started. Although I must say he was headstrong all the way to the very end until he decided to move the goalposts once again.

Ok I'm gonna weigh in with my doom porn prediction based on an "Archer" episode from 2009.
Season four, episode thirteen, titled "Sea Tunt".
The bad guy in the episode says he will launch V X nerve gas missiles at Washington, New York and Miami
in eleven hours and eleven minutes.
So seeing as this hasn't happened yet I will predict it will happen this year on 11/11/13, before the solar flare kill shot.

but the problem with that scenario, is that at the end, he had admitted that the bomb was a fake, just to draw attention to himself because he'd been cooped in the underwater lab for so long and wanted to talk to someone!

I know...I know....I'm basically trying to prove how useless and endless doom porn can be.
You can basically pull it out your *ss if you want to...and what is someone going to do, if what they predicted actually comes true.Are they gonna be around to run through the streets going" I told you so, I was right!" Is everyone on ATS going to look at that person as some kind of prophet? I think not.

I think I only weighed in because I had recently watched that episode and when I clicked on this thread I thought It would be funny to add to the madness.

I worry about people who seem to fixate on finding doom in every aspect of life instead of spending more positive energy living it, because if *hit happens what are we really gonna do about it?

Do you guys remember the crop circle way back in 2008 at Avebury Manor, England? That CC showed the size of the Sun getting bigger, as well as depicting the entry of two celestial objects - a comet and a new incoming planet. I think that could be ISON as well as the approach of a very dim brown dwarf star. The people doing the interpretations for that CC was mistaken in that they thought that those events concerning the expansion of our Sun's size in diameter would occur starting on December 21 2012. If what I'm told in one of my vivid dreams were true, that event(expansion of the Sun) could occur sometime this month, I'm guessing sometime around mid-November 2013, so the ETs would probably need to start their contact by early this month by the latest.

They do have technology to minimize as much problems as possible, but only if we accept their help(not as countries, but as individuals, since you may be given a choice to be beamed up to safety if you choose so). O.o I thought it was only me thinking those thoughts!!! Glad to see I'm not alone and ya you're right with the doom n gloom. Anyone can do it which means to me its nothing special and if it was real we would all be screwed anyway. Can we all go back to talking about cute kittens and pretty planes now please??

I just can't understand why these people want to dwell and obsess over the potential death of billions of people. This incessant desire for the world to end. It baffles me. I appreciate some do it for attention or even monetary gain but it can't be healthy and it's depressingly morbid. Cheer up! Enjoy life. You pass this way but once so make the most of it....

I want to see solar flare that can kill, that would be real beast. Carrington Event (1859) would be nothing compared to it. There was visible aurora as south as Hawaii and Cuba. They were so bright that gold miners in Rockies thought its morning. And worldwide telegraph systems failed, setting telegraph papers on fire.

But it didn't kill anyone. We have magnetic field and atmosphere that protects us from these killer storms.

Though similar event would knock the humanity back to medieval era. It would cut the gas lines, and totally destroy the electric systems. Transformers would literally explode. Satellites would be wiped out, their instruments would overheat and explode. If there was crew on ISS, they would die instantly. People near the poles and in planes would get nearly lethal radiation doses.

I think a preliminary major event prior to this November 13-14 2013 event would happen sometime between November 10 2013-November 12 2013....

I don't believe he's insinuating the solar flare itself is going to kill anyone, but the affects on the electrical grid, etc. will cause our demise. Anywho, nothing will happen the 13th. Humanity (or a reasonable facsimile) itself will be around for a few more billion years

Although that would be quite a site to witness, it would never happen like that - in a rolling wall of fire across the landscape. If we were to be fried like that, it would be in a manner of everything at the same time.

It will be more like a movie scenario from 'Office Space' where I'll be working at a job I don't like for the next thirty years. Since nothing will happen Nov. 13th or any other day in the forseeable future, life will go on and we all have to pay our bills.
